Recruit people, not resumes
Ask a struggling team leader where recruits come from and they will describe a war: poaching experienced reps from other shops, paying for the same stale lead lists, cold messaging people who get twenty identical pitches a week. The supply of experienced reps is small, expensive, and loyal to whoever paid for them last.
Now look at the teams compounding 20-30% a month. They are not fishing in that pond at all. They recruit regular people: the server, the gym coach, the stay-at-home parent scrolling at midnight. People who never considered the industry until a video made it look like a real path. No experience yet, no bad habits, no three competing offers.
Attention first, DMs second, contracts last
The order matters. Content earns attention from thousands of regular people. A fraction of them raise a hand in the comments or slide into the DMs. Conversations qualify them, an interview books, and the training comes after the decision, not before it. Flip that order and you are back to cold outreach, competing on the one thing you cannot win: being first.
Your audience is the pipeline
This is why the growth number matters more than any job board. A thousand engaged followers in your city is a standing pool of potential recruits nobody else can access, because the trust points at you. Every post is a job ad that does not look like one. The teams that get this stop asking 'where do we find reps' and start asking 'how do we grow the audience reps come from'. That second question is the one Downlines was built to answer.
